Help in an organic garden in a psychiatric hospital
The psychiatric hospital is home to more than 1300 patients. The organic garden was created by Argentinean volunteers to give the patients and the neighbourhood community a crafted space to see the growth of crops, to learn and to share in the open-air.
Ecological farm and responsible tourism
Argentina has a number of programs dedicated to promoting various forms of economic sustainability in the countryside, from rural tourism to experimental farming. In the outskirts of Buenos Aires, a farm is part of this program and has an experimental farm of American Ostriches and a vegetable garden.

Vallegrande, is a small town surrounded by mountains. It is located 110 kilometers from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, one of the main cities in Bolivia. Volunteers will find a second home in this land.

Responsible Tourism at VG
Voluntario Global does not only promote volunteering but also responsible tourism. As a result of this, VG has weekly volunteer reunions where the volunteers discuss their experiences and recommend tourist activities.
Fair Trade Program
This local development project is used as a tool for tourism and seeks to improve the quality of life of the islanders, giving them a decent and stable employment, overcoming seasonality and providing excellent tourist services, which meet the tourist side and on the other hand serve to stop the emigration of young islanders to the mainland.
