Program description

Voluntario Global does not only promote volunteering but also responsible tourism.

Our volunteers come from different countries, they not only want to volunteer but also to get to know Argentina and enjoy the tourist attractions and the city life.

As a result of this, Voluntario Global has weekly volunteer get-togethers where the volunteers discuss and recommend things to do and see in Buenos Aires, for example tango, football matches and the best places to eat as well as unbelievable places outside Buenos Aires such as Iguazú and Patagonia.

Voluntario Global is part of the Responsible Tourism Network in Argentina. All the different members of the network meet up once a month to discuss promotion and publicity opportunities and methods to raise public awareness.

Volunteers Tasks

  • Investigate and get to know the tourist attractions in Argentina so that you can describe them to the volunteers.

  • Offer the volunteers recommendations of services and interesting places that work in a responsible way.

  • Develop the volunteers’ knowledge of the importance of responsible tourism.

  • Send welcome emails to the volunteers and help them plan trips to the places that they want to get to know.

  • Plan events, parties and reunions where the volunteers can get to know each other and exchange ideas and tips.

  • Participate in the monthly meetings of the Responsible Tourism network and help out with the promotion opportunities they decide upon.
