Program description
|
Psychotherapeutic practice is not an area that volunteers can attend, and that, for reasons of secrecy and to open intimate matters with strangers, is not appropriate or beneficial for patients (who have a variable time of treatment). Bear in mind that in the field of psychology, one of the tools of the treatments is the psychologist-patient relationship with a prior confidentiality of patients. Thus, it is very difficult to give the volunteer the opportunity to be part of a session. Instead, they will be asked to participate in a first interview (with a new patient-consultant). However, it depends on the number of claims of consultants and scheduling issues for the professionals to coordinate interviews with the volunteers. |
